French Papered Photo Frames

My two dolls...
These will be hung at Great Gram's new "Home"...
My sister-in-law's children...
I am sorry that I did not snap a picture of these clearanced

TJ Max photo frames before I altered them, but

I painted them white (they were pink and white striped),

applied a coat of modge podge and laid down some french papers,

then applied another coat of modge podge on top to seal them.

Next I hot glued strips of burlap to each one and added a burlap rosette.

For the final touch, I used a piece of torn homemade paper that looks

just like linen (got this from a wonderful gal on Etsy!)

and stamped it with my Paris stamp and then glued that on.

Wallah!

  2. Another well-done re-purposing of an item. Better than in it's original form for sure!

  3. Wonder if there's a way to use Modge Podge to adhere dried, pressed leaves to a frame... Or even just glue one of them on in place of the rosette for fall decorating?
