On this past crisp, fall like Saturday morning, my daughter and I had the pleasure of hosting a Morning Tea with my sister-in-law and niece. I decided we would eat in the foyer for a bit of the unexpected! I snipped some greenery from a very old shrub we have out front and placed them at each setting. I used my French Inspired Clothespins (from my Etsy Shoppe) to hold each piece of greenery in place on white linen napkins. These Clothespins were given as favors along with tiny linen lavender sachets that I sewed up with gray linen and filled with lavender from my garden. I used my Coffee Stained Nest Tags for place cards and propped them up with miniature glass salt shakers. From each chair I hung vintage music papered cones I had made along with more greenery. Attached to each cone was a glittered chalkboard tag. I wrote a different word at each place setting...ex. Joy, Laugh, Sing. I used my favorite mugs that I purchased from AI ROOT Candle Company in Medina, Ohio (a bit of a splurge!) that say "City Bakery" on them! The brown striped embroidered linen napkin was also purchased at AI ROOT and is from DWELL Studios. Our menu (which I had written on one of my favorite chalkboards) included Earl Gray tea, homemade lemonade, fresh fruit, chocolate muffins, and ham and cheese crescent rolls.
We had a delightful time!

My sweet seven year old daughter Abigail said the table looked like it belonged in a magazine! That made my day!
What fun to put on a tea with yummy goodies. Your home looks so cozy and welcoming.

So very very pretty! What a fun time you all must have had. You did such a beautiful job with that tablescape. LUV the Frenchy clothespins - and when I saw your piano, it brought back fond memories of the one I took lessons on when I was a child! :) Have a great holiday!
