Sanctuary

Sanctuary...a sacred place of refuge

I cannot express enough praise to the great decorator and artist Dore Callaway! What an artistic and talented gal!

Dore has a wonderful Bohemian Style of Decorating that flows out into her artwork. She uses beautiful shades of whites and grays to create stunning effects. You must take some time to read her blog and visit her Etsy Shop!

I just recently purchased my Sanctuary Garden Sign from Dore and I have been enjoying it sooo much! I really wish I had a dozen of these to display...maybe I will start my collection soon!

I am having such a hard time deciding where this piece will rest for a while, but for now it is hanging in my bird themed Master Bath. I am not sure if it will stay long, because I feel this sign needs to be enjoyed by everyone who walks into my home.

Do you have a special spot or "Sanctuary" in your home? If so, where is it?

  5. What awesome work she does! That one-of-a-kind sign looks great where you have it. So cute! I'll have to skip over and surf her Etsy shop. My sanctuary is probably my study. It's where I blog while looking out of the century old windows. I'm surrounded by my beloved books, a favorite zinc French pitcher, pieces of architectural salvage, and French ticking pillows. It's where I feel my creative spirit stretch and grow.

    Have a wonderful weekend, Lisa!
